These amazing places are the inspiration of our first Cuzco cushion collection. We want to share the ‘behind the scenes, so you can understand where we found the inspiration. Even though these days we are not allowed to travel and visit this magnificent place, you can bring it to your place with any of our products

Rainbow Mountain

It will take you around 4 hours to get there, from Cuzco city centre, through the road you will see wild desert landscapes, snowy peaks, herds of alpacas, you will pass through a vibrant green valley, with the impressive imposing Ausangate Mountain, “the Spirit mountain” in the distance. You will be able to experience first-hand how mountain residents live. As you approach Rainbow Mountain, you will begin to see the first signs of the colored minerals that formed the painted hills. The rainbow mountain, seven coulours mountain or Vinicunca is 5000 meters above the sea, locals call it mountain of colours.

When we saw this mountain, we knew our products should reflect its beauty, and we weren’t wrong, our customers choose this beauty to remind them of this Peruvian gem. Its geological formations reveal all its splendor, in contrast to the blue sky that forms a formidable barrier between the coastal desert and the imposing Amazon rainforest. 🌞"Sun Festival" or "Inti Raymi": What it is?
On 24 June every year the winter solstice is celebrated, and the beginning of the Andean New Year: Inti Raymi.

The "Inti Raymi" or "Fiesta del Sol" was the biggest, most important, spectacular and magnificent feast carried out at the time of the Tahuantinsuyo Empire, which based its religion on the cult of the Sun festival. The Inti Raymi was made to worship the "Apu Inti" (Sun God). The ceremony is a 9 to 15 -day celebration.

Our Inti Raymi Boho Cushion is inspired by this amazing celebration, full of colours, it has the power to transport you to this magical celebration! Currently, the Inti Raymi is a theatrical performance, thousands of people from Cusco and from all over the world come together to this event which is one of the most important cultural and traditional events in this part of the world.
